From high-profile handsets to never-seen-before oddities, there’s something for everyone. We’ve selected five phones that are sure to be great, or at the very least, interesting, unique, or creative.
Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3
The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3 is unlikely to be as popular as the majority of the smartphones on this list, but it could be more impressive, as foldable phones are the way of the future. Besides having a large, foldable screen, the main Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3 rumors so far indicate that it will support Samsung’s S Pen stylus, have an in-screen camera, and an RGB light strip on its hinge.
LG Rollable
The LG Rollable phone is a bit of a wild card because it promises to offer a completely unique feature for handsets – a phone with a rollable screen. LG released a short teaser that shows the phone stretching from smartphone to tablet size without any need for folding.
According to a rumor, the screen can expand from 6.8 to 7.4 inches. Furthermore, a patent claim for the term “LG Rollable” mentions “electronic touch screen pens,” suggesting that users will be able to get a stylus for it, like the Galaxy Z Fold 3.
It may also have a top-of-the-line Snapdragon 888 processor, 16GB of RAM, and a 4,200mAh battery, according to reports. Although the LG Rollable is likely to be costly and niche, it does sound enticing.
IPhone 13 Range
The iPhone 13 series is probably the most eagerly awaited of the upcoming phones. However, you’ll have to wait a while for them, as they’re unlikely to arrive until September 2021.
High refresh rate displays, 1TB of storage, in-screen fingerprint scanners, and a smaller notch are all rumored to be included in these new models. There’s also talk of adding a periscope camera, which would expand the optical zoom ability.
Huawei P50
According to reports, the Huawei P50 Pro will have a 6.6-inch curved screen and will use the high-end Kirin 9000 chipset found in the Huawei Mate 40 range. The camera, on the other hand, is likely to be the showstopper, with leaks indicating some very large lenses.
Nokia 10
According to rumors, the phone will have an in-screen selfie camera, sapphire glass display, stainless steel frame, and a top-of-the-line Snapdragon 888 processor, making it a very high-end device. Other reports claim that a phone called the Nokia G10 (which could be the same device) will be released in April with a Snapdragon 775 chipset and five rear cameras, the most powerful of which is a 108MP camera.
